Cat High Efficiency Air Filters

The design of Cat Filters incorporate several advanced features to provide up to 50% greater service life than other brands of Air filter elements. Its further improves resistance to life-shortening effects of high air flow and high humidity conditions. The high air flow required by diesel engines and high humidity working environments can cause air filter pleat bunching. On less expensive filters, end caps are metal and are glued directly to filter pleats. This can cause gaps between the metal and pleats that can allow contaminants to leak between the filter media and end cap.
