What
does Waste Management mean to us? |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Based
on all possible meanings of waste ( ANNEX –
II ) there is no doubt that 'Waste' is undesirable.
However, Waste in any form or meaning cannot
be totally ignored. Therefore, through adopting the approach of
the 3 R's, we must look to manage it in such a way that it does
not have any long-term irreversible effects on our environment
The 3
R's - (a) Reduce
(b) Re-use
(c) Re-cycle
We can all help maintain the balance in our
environment and ensure a pollution free life for us and future generations.
At
present, Ecologic's strengths which have been built up through
experienced and qualified professionals ( ANNEX
- III ) enable it to help Industrialists find the
right solutions in some of the key aspects of Waste Management.
These solutions are based on ensuring that their operations can
become more profitable and sustainable in the long-term.

- By providing the best quality
equipment and measurement systems - we reduce wastage
in physical processes, wastage in unnecessary repairs and wastage
in unnecessary downtime resulting in lowering of long-term operational
costs.
- By designing processes to handle
and treat physical waste - we help to recover material,
which can be re-used.
- By providing solutions to handle
waste, which cannot be re-used - we help to re-cycle
with the minimum possible damage to our health and environment.

Our
journey, which began with just treating water, has evolved towards
meeting a much broader goal of Total Waste Management. It is a much
longer journey now but we are committed to continue as long as there
is "Waste". |
