China Harbor Engineering Company has once again trusted United Tractors as their local Heavy Machinery Partner to supply 5 more Caterpillar 320C Hydraulic Excavators for use on the construction of the highway, running from Kottawa to Dodangoda under the multi billion rupee Southern Highway development project.

The formal handing-over ceremony of the 5 CAT 320C Excavator units took place at the UTE head office on 02 nd December 2005 .

A distinguished gathering including Mr.Huan Gang –The Plant Manager at the China Harbor Engineering Group, Mr. Priath Fernando -Chairman, UTE group of companies and Mrs. Christine Fernando-MD/CEO, UTE group were present at this occasion.

A special envoy from Caterpillar Asia Pacific region Mr.S.Jayachandran also graced this occasion. Addressing the gathering Mr.Jayachandran emphasized on the CAT service excellence and the synergy created by the UTE, CAT combination over the years.
   
 
   
  Mrs. Christine Fernando thanked the China Harbor Engineering Group for the confidence placed in UTE and its service while assuring to live up to their expectations for their after sales service requirements.
