United Tractor & Equipment Limited has a modern Workshop Facility situated at Wattala, which is 6 km from the Colombo city. The facility is located in a 6 acre yard and has 1,100 sq. meters of workshop under one roof to provide extensive indoor service to our Customers.

United Tractor & Equipment Limited Workshop specializes in Diesel Engines/Generators and it is equipped with special tooling such as LOAD BANKS, FUEL INJECTION TESTING FACILITIES, DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT for Engines, Alternators, as well as Control Equipment of the Generators to name a few.

Also we have the facilities as well as capabilities required to do all the repairs/ maintenance /services of heavy machinery as well as the material handling equipment.

We are also able to extend to you a round the clock servicing facility and our key service personnel can be paged at any time when you require our services.

We are proud to mention here that we have the largest after sales Service Workshop with experienced Service and Engineering personnel geared to support the Caterpillar and other equipments supplied by us.

Our Workshop is different from any other workshop in Sri Lanka mainly because of the competent and efficient workforce we have. Our total service staff strength is around 100. All key personnel are trained by Caterpillar and are competent in attending to any electric/electronic and mechanical aspects of equipments. Apart from this, our Service crews are highly mobile and could be mobilized to reach any of our installations within a short notice.

Our Service personnel perhaps have the highest experience in Sri Lanka in maintaining and repairing Generating sets including large plants with sophisticated Switchgear Controlling Systems and other powerhouse accessories.

We take full responsibility for any installation work carried out under our supervision. We use our experienced service personnel, Technicians and Engineers to attend to the installations and commissioning of the Caterpillar machines & Generator sets supplied by us.

Our trained Engineers and Technicians will travel to any destination within Sri Lanka and abroad if required to maintain and repair equipment within our product range.
